Re: Plagis Spitfire photos

That Spit looks AWESOME, it is now a must-have I'm afraid... and it will make that Dragon CH Plagis look better just sitting next to it ...

Re: Plagis Spitfire photos

Very, very nice. I am with Card in trying to maintain my resolve to "try" and stick to 1:48 and above - at least with the single engine models. The Princess Elizabeth may be my last 1:72 for that reason but your pics are making me a bit wishy-washy.

I'm still resisting and showing a modicum of resolve and have managed to overcome the desire to pre-order Princess Elizabeth, something I may regret over time. I have tried to convince myself though that PE would complement the 1/48 EI Patty Ann II nicely ... .

Re: Plagis Spitfire photos

Neat pics Parsig. Looks like this is the Spit to get! After the first six I've held back, apart from Princess Elizabeth and Nuemann (same order). Looks like GA will yet get a chance to redeem themselves.

Re: Plagis Spitfire photos

(Shaking of head), Just how many Spits does a guy need? I have enough of these beautiful birds OR SO I THOUGHT!!!!!

Is it really that good, those photos say yes. It looks a real cracker of a model, just too good to miss.

Cardinal you made a good point about the GMPs, they take a whole shelf each, those Doras take up a lot of room too.

I am pushing 200 models now and space is a major problem, if I could just get motivated to do that loft out I would have plenty of space.
That then raises the problem of so much space but so many models out there to fill it.
Where does all this end?

.................................................. ............BANKRUPCY............................. .....................................

Thats of course if Lorrains doesnt flatten me first.

Hmm, well the Spit is not that big, I wonder if I could sneak that one past her eagle eyes?

Oh dear, I just remembered that I have the Lizzie and another P40 preorder thats due in soon, Aaaargh.

God Bless America.

Yep I was that way as well, but I cracked and the resolve just crumbled away.

Re: Plagis Spitfire photos

Beautiful model! The colors look so striking and I'm sure the quality is there. But Jim (shaking head) is correct. "Just how many Spits does a guy need?" I've got six (Gemini and other manufacturers) and that's pretty good. I'd love a late model, bubble canopy, 5 bladed propeller version. This one's a pass. And when it comes to Spitfires, my resolve is safe so I can sleep well tonight.
