Re: Gemini ACES - New Mold speculation

You ain't kiddin'! Although, right now, I could do without the edge... I have 5 parcels on the way... the most I have ever had at one time. (Not to mention I have recently picked up six 007 DVDs within a two week time period). Oh lord, please help me!

Uh... darling... Sean, Pierce, or Daniel... you pick...

OH boy is that going to cost you.

Pssst a little tip here, every now and again buy her a big bunch of flowers walk in the door give her a big hug and kiss and the flowers and tell her you would be lost without her then just go and sit down as if nothing had happened.

Talk about wrong footing them!! she will forget all about your diecast and wear puzzled frown for days.
Shortly after this order a diecast, you will have no problems.

Thumbs up Re: Gemini ACES - New Mold speculation

I'm late, I'm late for a very important date. I love Jugs (pun intended) and FW-190s. Do both and I'll be waiting at the front of the line.

Re: Gemini ACES - New Mold speculation

Hi guys,

my first posting and i'm a new collector (kicked off in April) & have been making the most of the strong NZ dollar
against the $US by buying up quite a few 1:72 WWII & modern aircraft.

Love Gemini's work - what ever they do i'm sure they'll do it well.

For my money i's love to see GA do a late model Griffon-engined Spitfire - no one has done one yet that i'm aware of.
I hope to see a Hawker Tempest too one day.... maybe Corgi or HM will. Now, where did I put that crystal ball??!!

Welcome to the Forum, 11SQNLDR, Be careful (unless your loaded with money!), hanging around here is SO much fun, but can lead to many involuntary purchases of diecast, thereby causing credit card burn!

Listen to the wise words of experience from the Captain.
I agree with you about Gemini, their models are excellent diecast pieces.

Welcome to the asylum, 11SQNLDR. Gemini makes great stuff; however, keep in mind that even manufactures with shakey reputations can and do produce decent issues. Pay attention to what you'll read on this site, go slowly, watch for bargains and you'll do well down the road.

Welcome 11SQNLDR, listen to the OLE DAWGS, they won't lead you down the primrose, but will always point you in the right direction.
There are a lot of good models out there, and by the time you read all of the posts on the forum you will either know what is the best, or be so confused you may buy a "MINNIE MOUSE", and give up on A/C. To many planes and not enough models.

Just thinking that it would be cool to see GA make an F9F Panther to go along with a dark blue Skyraider...

Angry Re: Gemini ACES - New Mold speculation

thanks for your welcome & your worldly advice guys, i've already learned a lot since spending hours reading these pages & look forward to picking up more over the months and years.

Yep, the credit card has taken a real hammering lately and even this weekend i've purchased off two sites I never knew existed until reading these threads (Pete's Collectables & On Mark International). Have spend quite a bit with TFH and Aiken's until now, and with another that I won't deal with as they needed prompting after a week to send my stuff... on more than one occasion!!

Does anyone know if we're like;y to see a GA Skyraider without the dome underneath?

The casting of the Skyraider that we have seen had all the bits and pieces that you would need for a Skyraider. I am sure there will be plenty without the dome and I doubt the dome will be on any of the first releases.
