I recieved my Hun Hunter today and for the first time, I've had an issue with the canopy. It was knocked loose, almost as if it was never glued(?) in place. Anyone else have this problem? I've tacked it in place with white glue, but man thats a bummer. Is GA's QC slipping that bad?

I got my Hun Hunter today as well...Opened her up and my canopy is fine...The only question I have is, was this version not a limited release (of 2000) like Ferocious Frankie and Ding Hao?

I have one coming in either today or tomorrow and will let you know if mine have the same issue. I did have one of the Spitfire that came in with the tail wheel "unglued" but that's no biggie.
I've had worst QC issues with Witty diecasts - the Spitfire & Sea Fury had it's port side stabilator come off presumably during transit.

No problems with mine and I think it is the best P51 done my any manufacturer.

Tundra04 - no it isn't a limited edition. I believe it was supposed to be a US only model but we don't seem to have a problem getting them in the UK.

Got my HHFT P-51 lastnight and canopy is glued on tight!

I have all the p-51's and all the me 109's but one plus all the spits but one. I have had some issues with landing gear on the 51's the sides on the gear has fallen off two of them but that is an easy fix, give me these any day as they are just soooooo cool. Wish they had of gave me a card with hun hunter as they did not.

Well I've decided to give this one to the boy. I am however keeping the canopy. I have a second Ding Hao that I'm turning into a P-51B "Old Crow" with white nose prior to the red and yellow checkering. I'll use the canopy with the mirror for the conversion. So look for that in the future while I order a replacement Hun Hunter.
