Thumbs up Geminis P-51 Mustangs

I have just taken delivery of my first 2 Gemini Aces P-51 mustang's .They are the P-51 Mustang lll R.A.F. and the P-51B Mustang Berlin Express. I must say

that to me they look fantastic and I really like to looks of the Malcom hoods on both. The quality of these 2 models to me is outstanding , and I can't wait to get the rest of them.

Avro Arrow,
Congratulations on taking the plunge. The Polish P-51 is one of my favorite new birds.

If you are so biased, pick up one of the "regular" razorback hoods. They are fantastic birds. The first release, Bald Eagle, is wonderful and well worth the money.

Anything for a weird life.

Re: Geminis P-51 Mustangs

I have to agree, Gemini's Mustangs are really great models. I have Ding Hao, Sklaski's, and Bald Eagle, and find no fault with any of them, except for the aforementioned antenna problem. Still, how can you beat metal props, workable rudders, and a landing gear system that makes sense. The stands aren't the most sturdy, but the models sure are great. The 109s is also great, I have the Galland with the Desert one on the way and highly recommend them. Finally the Spits are also nice, though purists would advise holding off on them till they get the green paint right. Gemini has really stepped up to the plate with their releases, combined with Hobbymaster and Dragon, is there any wonder why Corgi's sales have begun to suffer.

Don't get me wrong, I love Corgi for what it has done for this hobby. But they and Dragon certainly aren't the only players in 1/72 anymore.
