Newman Bf 109F

Yipppeeee! Just got my Newman Bf 109F today. I love this model! The details are excellent, especially that bright yellow nose. Hey hworth, the marking is the same as your avitar - that's really cool! The plane has a "real" tropical filter - no painted on, half done filter like some over-priced puppy I know. The landing gear snaps in easily and has the correct angle. It's great that I don't have to guess as to how the individual wheels should be set. The color is right-on. Compared to my Matchbox Bf 109G painted the same way these two go together surprisingly well. The light blue is a tad too blue IMHO, but that doesn't really detract from what is a beautiful model. Displayed with my Gemini Galland 109F, this model just adds some spice to my collection. Never thought I'd love having a couple of 109s in my collection so much. Hey Gemini - how about a Fw-190A?

Re: Newman Bf 109F

Welcome to the ride down the slippery slope ... all signs indicate it leads to financial ruin and closets stuffed with model boxes -- and an irrated significant other.... but the models are worth it! (You got to have priorities... )

Glad you liked it so much! I had a similar reaction to Gemini's Spits, as I thought I wouldn't be making room for any more of those.... but Gem's are the best, and the 109s are pretty sweet too...
