Re: Next round Gemini Aces released!!!

Sorry, but I can't see the pictures. All I get is a small square with a red "x" in it. Any suggestions? I really want to see what this new P-51B looks like. I'm still on the fence about getting "Berlin Express" and if I like this new version better, I'll wait.

If you right click on the red X and then click on show picture it should come up.

Thanks but I tried that already to no avail - still no pics. That's why I went to the Flying Tiger web site.

Looking forward to "FEROCIOUS FRANKIE" and "PRINCESS ELIZABETH". And Dragon's first Razorback Mustang. Man I need more room to show these off.

Re: Next round Gemini Aces released!!!

I am confused!

According to Harry and the Flying Tiger, the Graf 109 is May 1942 Russian Front. The Flying Mule has it as Kharkov, Russia, January 1942. Who is correct? Plates that I have show a different paint scheme for the Kharkov 109.

Best I can determine is June or July of 1943 on his 109G-6 to honor his soccer team the Red Fighters.

Re: Next round Gemini Aces released!!!

Graf loved to play soccer and this irritated some in the Luftwaffe high command because they thought officers should only play gentlemanly games like tennis. They also thought his naming of his team might have some Communist leanings because of the name but it was simply chosen because that was the color of the jerseys that were sent to them to play in. In a scene right out of the original "MASH" movie, he had some of Germany's better soccer players assigned as ground personnel in his newly formed high altitude fighter unit.
