USAAF Spit and Desert Me 109

Was notified by a certain online dealer (previously associated with a diecast discussion board) that these were now in stock. Checked the site - and sure enough there they were.

Looks like they are now hitting your go-to dealer. Happy hunting.

So, how is Martin these days?

(Nice pics on his site, BTW!)

Re: USAAF Spit and Desert Me 109

You know, its ok to mention the Flying Mule or any other dealer by name.

I talked to Mark today and he said that they have the 109, but the US Spitfire was not out yet and that Gemini couldn't tell him for sure when it would be. I wish that they would release these trios, or in this case duo, together so that I could save a green on shipping.

That's interesting. The Flying Mule shows this one in stock and there are the typical FM multi pics.

I've emailed my local dealer this morning to see if/when he would be getting these. He hasn't replied yet. Wonder what info he'll have????

Yeah, it does look like Martin has them both in stock. Maybe Mark's shipment got split up? I'm sure Mark would be happy to hang onto the 109 until the spit gets in.

Re: USAAF Spit and Desert Me 109

Just got the following email from my local dealer:

"I do have them on order. I just called ADI and they said they would ship out today. Since they're coming from NV, I expect to have them on Tues or Wed next week and will put one of each aside for you.

Thanks,..."

Re: USAAF Spit and Desert Me 109

Got a shipping notification yesterday from TFM so should be getting the 109 today

Weather permitting - Just came back from the the Tahoe region on I-80 yesterday, and it's not a pretty sight. I had chain controls for 2 1/2 hours out of Truckee, so hope the UPS truck go out OK from Grass Valley.

Can't wait to see it. Also had the rest of the 3rd wave and the CC Swordflish held up because of this one.
