Re: What I would like to see next

And I agree with Raven: Lose the moveable rudder. Honestly, how many collectors appreciate being able to move the rudder a few degrees to one side or the other?

That would be those who wanted folding wings on the HM F9F Panther. I think GA birds are better than Corgis, and would welcome a new F4U Birdcage Corsair. I could see a P-40 in their future if they have one. But right now I want to see the Skyraider without that ASW blister.

Cool Re: What I would like to see next

Team10 you're list is way too conservative. I personally have no taste left for any more F4U, P-40, Me 262, Fw 190 and certainly not any more Hurricanes! I have at least a 48" long x 15" deep shelf full of each them in 1/72 scale already. There are many ignored aircraft that would be desireable and not have them play the "me to" game. I don't think I'm alone, making more of the same that will limit sales to the many fanatic diecsast collectors that sustain the hobby. It's bad enough that some aircraft have been produced in the exact same paint scheme by different manufacturers. Don't worry about what the new collectors will have for P-51, P-38, Me 109, Spitfire choices for the forseeable future. If the manufacturers stopped making them today, eBay will have a huge selection for at least the next five years.

Re: What I would like to see next

Only thing with the "we have enough already" statement is, things are getting better. The Corgi and later Dragon Corsairs, Mustangs and 109/190s were good for their time. Why can't we get a better one as the standards and technology improve?
I love my Dragon Corsairs, but they could be better, especially the gear down option. Same with the P-51Ds, way too many bits and pieces for my liking. Can't comment on the Axis stuff.
I'll agree slightly that other less famous aircraft need to be done. But if we're gonna get a great Yak-3, I'll want a Top Ten bird that is just a well built too.

Re: What I would like to see next

I would like to see some of the aircraft that have yet to be produced as a future release. Aircraft like the P-36, P-40B or C model, LaGG 3, Yak 1 ( 7 or 9 variant too.), LA-5 (or LA-7), Mig 3, Petlyakov Pe-2, ME 163, Arado Ar 234, or pretty much any of the Italian fighters. Basically I would like to see some new aircraft as apposed to reruns of what have already been produced.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: What I would like to see next

Probably should have added the Me 410 to the list as well.

Yep, that would be a good one to make. (Mig-17 or Mig-19 too.)
