Re: What I would like to see next

I'd like a good Bird Cage Corsair. And since Dragon dropped the ball, they could do a good early P-40. And since they do atleast one Axis bird, you all can fight over which Japanese fighter needs to be done.

Re: What I would like to see next

More Luftwaffe birds please. How about a Bf 110? HM's looks silly with that nose and canopy, plus I am doubting we'll ever see Corgi's version.

Re: What I would like to see next

I feel that we will do well to get the three aircraft you mentioned this year Elmer. Gemini will have to get at least six schemes per aircraft out to make them commercially viable IMHO. That takes up a lot of production time over the next 18 months. I'll be happy to see even half that number hit the market.

Re: What I would like to see next

I'd just like to see the Skyraider and then decide if they can live up to any kind of schedule. The absence of any communication makes me wonder if there is any future for Gemini.

Re: What I would like to see next

Frankly I think they need to be putting their arses in gear, and bringing out the stuff they've been promising for the past year. Then we can talk about what's "next"!

I've got so bored waiting for their Phantom's, I've started to build my own!

Re: What I would like to see next

The Beaufighter would be a welcome addition. Another aircraft that is crying out to be done is the A-20 Havoc/Boston.

So many possibilities...

That A-20 Havoc would make for a good looking model, some neat paint schemes too.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Yes, I really would like to know how's Gemini A-1. Is there any news about it?

Re: What I would like to see next

Given the troubles that seem to be afflicting diecast manufacturers lately, I'd be happy just to see the promised Spitfire Mk.I. GA's Mk.IX is the bees' knees, and proceeding with the Mk.I would be a safe and not-too-costly move. After releasing that (and their other promised moulds), I'm with those calling for a P-38 and P-40. I think Dragon is out of the game for the foreseeable future, and I can't see how GA's models wouldn't be leaps ahead of Corgi's. They're also safe choices in that they'd appeal to a lot of casual buyers, as well as us serious collectors . After that, I think, the time would be right to develop some more exciting moulds -- Beaufighter, MC.202...

And I agree with Raven: Lose the moveable rudder. Honestly, how many collectors appreciate being able to move the rudder a few degrees to one side or the other?

Nrrrm! Whoosh! Rat-tat-tat!
