Re: Berlin Express - wrong antenna (again)

Just literally got my sticky paws on it. Awsome, and I see the pilot has been on a diet to. Much better than the one on the RAF P51

The arial problem was solved for me. It literally fell off the plane as I was taking it out of the box. Plane looks a lot better without it. Just have to fill the hole and touchup.

Re: Berlin Express - wrong antenna (again)

UPS just dropped mine off. It is a good looking a/c. Mine must have been made at the end of the shift, It has some serious gap on the rear of the canopy. Anyone else have this problem on there plane?

Mine has a tiny gap on one side, but nothing very obvious and you have to look for it to see it. All in all very pleased with this one.

Re: Berlin Express - wrong antenna (again)

pulled the aerial off and filled the hole with microsol crystal clear then added a fusewire whip aerial further back, dab of superglue on the wire then a touch of crystal clear, looks the biz now.
will add a touch of faded olive drab once mixed.

Re: Berlin Express - wrong antenna (again)

I just recieved mine and this plane rocks. In order of appeal:
1. Berlin Express
2. Polish Ace
3. Ding Hao
4. Bald Eagle
Now if the Princess Elizabeth will ever come out, and they make an Old Crow version. I'd be one happy camper.

Re: Berlin Express - wrong antenna (again)

Has anyone attempted to remove Bald Eagle's aerial and replace it with Berlin Express's aerial? Are the colors close? Is the fit close?
