Re: Pre Pro Berlin Expess

Johnnyboy,
Hey there.

I noticed that in the newletter myself. It doesn't have any radio antenna. Does anyone know if that is correct, or just a pre-production error that will be corrected?

These are pre-pros, but Berlin shouldn't have the Malcolm...

Re: Pre Pro Berlin Expess

Well we know that this plane was Bud Anderson's before it was Overstreet's and it had the Malcolm hood, so what gives??? Did Overstreet have more than one B coming from Anderson a couple of different times???? I found a couple of photos, one which I would love it if Gemini did it this way and the other is what I think the box art is going to be!!!

If you look closely the tail numbers are different. I would like to research this but I know there are those of you out there that have the info at home and probably know a little more than me, maybe?!?!?! hehe

Re: Pre Pro Berlin Expess

Found this little item while doing a quick look up of Bill Overstreet (See Berlin Express).

http://www.actionart.ca/free.htm

Is this for real??? If so, I would think that this would be more widely known as one of the real unique aerial engagements of WWII (maybe it is and I am just out of the loop). Do I smell a future Dogfights episode? Can anybody dig up the story to go along with the image (I'll give it a shot)?
