Re: Princess Elizabeth Commission!!!

Anyone heard if flyingtigers are planning on having Gemini do anything different with the PE realease? Like have the pilot reworked or continue tweaking the antenna? Just curious.

Re: Princess Elizabeth Commission!!!

but really folks how many silver Mustangs are enough?

never enough! i suppose your more likely to buy if you've seen the real thing fly and helped financed its upkeep [I'm a friend of The Fighter Collection]

it looks so nice but the only B model Mustang I plan to get is the Flying Mule exclusive polished metal Tuskegee one. To each his own I bet it will be a really nice one to have.

ooh I'm having both - and Shangri-La too
I'm Mustang mad, me!

One of these days I'll make the pilgrimage to WWII aviation mecca. (Duxford)
Until then Gemini's replica will have to do.

Nuttin' wrong with that.
I'll be having several as well.

I just can't buy a plane with an over-sized pilot with no neck and screwy antenna. I am waiting patiently for a desert 109 done right..............

Hey Louie, just take the canopy off and with just a little wiggle, ole fatso comes right out!!! Personally I love the Gemini line and the fat, hunch back pilot won't screw it up for me. I hope you give these Mustangs a try because they are the best!!!!

Re: Princess Elizabeth Commission!!!

I ordered mine and was looking forward to getting it next month. But it appears she is delayed until March/April. The Princess is late, oh the shame. What would the Queen say?

Re: Princess Elizabeth Commission!!!

The good folks at Flying-Tigers.co.uk were kindly enough to send me some piccies of the Princess Elizabeth pre-production models. I think she looks fantastic. Well worth the wait for sure!

Much thanks to the folks at Flying-Tigers for the use of the pictures.

Re: Princess Elizabeth Commission!!!

Nice pics of the Princess E! I have been looking forward to adding a blue-nosed Mustang to the airfield. Shame we have to wait another month or two.
