I can relate to what you say, Shawn. One of my best buddies is former 82nd AB (not relevant info but of note, lol) and is now - finally - promoting to Major. He is a mustang and often jokes how the ebb and flow of "good years and bad years" to be elibible to promote can make it a real adventure.

I am pleased I have ordered two. At 750 off and PE coming over to the USA they should not take long to sell out.

Thanks for the link. PE is a "keeper" for me.

Oh btw, congrats to your promotion, Shawn 507!

Re: Princess Elizabeth Commission!!!

Drool, drool, drool.....over the pictures.

Thanks.

I have received an email that they have arrived and will be shipped soon.

I cannot wait. I can wait. "They also serve who only stand and wait."--John Milton

"Can't wait!" Stevie Nicks.

[I just thought I would add a little lit-trature and kulture to the site.]

Here is a case where I go beyond my limits--of $50 per month, and duplication of planes from the same fighter group. I have two Blue-Nose Bastards of Bodney already. But no P-51B or C. So I will add this choice model to the collection.

I await expectantly for the birth/arrival of my latest addition....

I was hoping they have already shipped them out by now.

Re: Princess Elizabeth Commission!!!

I just checked my bank balance/VISA. Nothing has been charged yet. And don't forget about the increase in the British pound.

So this might turn out to be my costliest diecast model.

Ciao!

Re: Princess Elizabeth Commission!!!

This is probably wishful thinking, but does anyone think they will charge the cost of the model at the exchange rate when the order made? As I ordered it last year this could save quite a few dollars if they did so (money that will now be spent on the shipping).

A person can dream can't he?
