The A-36, like the P-51A/Mk.I Mustang, would require a different mould, or extensive retooling to acquire the proper shape. I would love to it happen, and I hope that Corgi can pull it off with their efforts later this year.

Did the Tuskeegee airmen fly the B version of the P-51? I'd definitely go for a few of them.

Anything for a weird life.

I have to say I hope Gemini will pick up Gentiles "Shangrila" after the cancelation by Corgi.

That is the one P51B I would like to have in 1-72

I'd definetly go for a Gemini Tuskegee P-51 B/C. Quite probably 2 of each Tuskegee themed bird they made.

With Corgi/Flying Mule doing Buddy Archer's P-51 B in Dec. 07 (?) - I would like to see Gemini pick a different paint scheme from Archers. Gemini could do Wendell Pruitt's "B" - "Alice-Jo."

Pruitt was Archer's wingman and considered by other Tuskegee Airmen as one of the "best sticks" in the unit. (Had 2 Me 109's and an HE 111 to his credit) He was killed after his first tour in a training accident, (stateside) on April 20, 1945 in an AT-6, while in the role of a flight instructor.

Re: What P-51B Schemes For Gemini would you like?

This is why the B/C variant is so cool. So many options for OD overall, half and half, and bare metal. Gemini could go on and on and not bore us. The D model has been played out.

Re: What P-51B Schemes For Gemini would you like?

Totally agree, Shawn. I'll take the fastback/razorback models over the bubbletops anyday. In fact, I plan on having twice as many vs the D model if they give us the good schemes....
