Re: What P-51B Schemes For Gemini would you like?

Funny enough, the 352nd Blue-Noser's old air-base, has always has seemed under-represented to me, with it's lovely little memorial stuck where it is, on the edge of the 'Stanta' military training ground & the Breckland forest.

Glad to see you mention the other guys, Starman - but everytime I drive past there, (down the A.1065), I always inevitably think of Preddy - not just because of the timing & the way he met his fate, BUT of the impact that he had on the local community & their children, whom he would entertain at local parties & fundraising events at that time (as it's a relatively sparsely-populated bit of Norfolk) & not an awful lot happens there.......

Amen to Starman and Hornchurch!!!!!!!!! Do the whole darn group Gemini and then move on to the 354th, 357th, 359th, 4th, etc, etc, etc.

Aah, Grim Reaper, looks like we'll have to get YOU to become Gemini's M.D.

Then we'll be lucky enough to buy most, if not, ALL P.51's ever made.

I'll have a (white-nosed) Don Blakeslee '51 B, while you're there please !!!!

Re: What P-51B Schemes For Gemini would you like?

I guess I'm not sure??? How about Beantown Banshee(Felix Rogers, 354th FG), Short-Fuse Sallee(Richard Turner, 354th FG), or these 3 from the 357th FG - Old Crow, U've Had It(John England) and Hurry Home Honey(Richard Peterson)?????????? So many to do, I guess which ever ones they do I'll be happy, especially as long as they are ETO or MTO, I'm not that big on PTO Mustang paint schemes, more so the P-38 and USMC and Navy planes!

Re: What P-51B Schemes For Gemini would you like?

I think Gemini has a line-up of P-51B or C paint schemes already.
I just wish they release what they will be making for 2007.

I agree Starman!!! I want to know what the paint schemes are going to be a year in advance so that I can prepare the finances.
