For a start, they could refine their last effort, say, dump all decals and use tampo-print instead!!

Re: What's going on at Gaincorp??

I like the Gaincorp Iron Curtain planes a great deal. However, in my view they are a bit pricey. As a result I only have a couple in my collection that were snagged when they were on sale.

Su-30 in Chinese or Indian Air Force markings. And not the fake "Chinese" markings on their existing Su-27. A Chinese F-10 would be nice as well. Whatever comes next, I'll be looking forward to seeing it.

Yes PLEASE: Su-30MK!!! A good Su-30MK with an Indian AF markings/livery would be good to have in my collection just about now.

Re: What's going on at Gaincorp??

Agree with you all. I'd immediately buy any two-seat (tandem, that is) variant of the Su-27 and all its various derivative (particularly Su-30MK/MKK). I' ve been waiting for them to do something like that.

Or they can do a Chinese J-10. I'd love that one (1/72, or 1/48 even better for me).

Actually they did produce a grey PLAAF Su-27 bort 27 (inaccurate because according to information around, that number would be on a twin seater UB version).
As of late I have seen another re-release, bort 9, a bit more printed or decaled details (photos on the net quite small, and only saw that particular model face to face once).
Compared to Witty's PLAAF Su-27, they are on the rough side. I stay with Witty (wrong cockpit shape and all, still less flaws than that Gaincorp stop-gap that I looked for almost two years and made me happy for another two years).
OH, and FVD should have seen on another thread that Gaincorp did release a J-10, but it is very hard to find outside China, and within China they sell for 900RMB, which is a complete rip-off.
