As usual for this kind of stuff, at this store : china-legendmodel.

The FBC-1 (or JB-7) is a twin seats, twin engined, supersonic interdictor (2 x RR Spey, MTOW : 27 tons). It's mainly used by Chinese naval aviation in the maritime strike role.

Re: New : 1/72 PLNAF JB-7 !

There's a lot of useful information here:

JH-7 Fighter-Bomber - SinoDefence.com

It is estimated that ~70-100 of them are in service. As planenutsfrog indicated, most of them area in service with PLA Naval Aviation. Some units are in service with the regular PLAAF.

I always thought it was an interesting plane - looks a tiny bit like the Jaguar.

Re: New : 1/72 PLNAF JB-7 !

The photo shown there is probably a real plane photoshoped onto the stand. I saw some pictures of the Gaincorp plane is a box (will post it later, bookmarked in another laptop) and it does not look SO detailed.

Not sure this is the same model, but found a FBC-1 diecast model link with a lot pictures(all in Chinese).
I do not collect modern aircraft, but it looks pretty good

Re: New : 1/72 PLNAF JB-7 !

looks different if it's 1/72 as I suspect judging by the pic of it next to the DW F-14, I would buy one as long as the price is reasonable.

Re: New : 1/72 PLNAF JB-7 !

good hunt! These pictures show an amazingly detailed model, all imprinting in Chinese! The lighter livery with a dark backdrop is a trumpeter kit build, the one with natural light is the diecast Gaincorp.
The Chinese blogger/collectors also warns there is another diecast of the JB-7 but less detailed.

I am surprised that the model has all the details a Gaincorp 1/48 would have, maybe because the "Fei Bao" (Flying Panther) is a rather large aircraft? I stumbled upon this picture and the quality is not good, but confirms this particular Gaincorp looks promising. The box is a typical Chinese-market only package. The other model with a different stand is another discovery, seems less interesting and could be the one the blogger was referring to?
