Just touched down from TFM -- kind of crazy how fast they got here!

It rides a bit high in the nose..

Cool pilots -- metal ones, too! (My other Su-47s did not include pilots.) One is either giving the thumb's up or Maverick the finger... hard to tell.

My real Raptor shots, here: Steve's Photo Site

I thought you got a Raptor from you pal? Sorry to hear that... maybe the diecast gods are trying to tell you something

The GC F-22 is okay, but definitely not $60 good IMHO... someone will surely make a better one sooner or later.

The ladder on the SU goes up behind the front undercarriage leg as this is how the crew gain access to the cockpit via the U/C bay !

LOL -- I was pretty sure that was wonky.... and I was curious about the canopy, and how the crew got in there... thanks for the info!

Re: Pics: Edwards F-22 8011 Su-37

Well, I grabbed the last 8011a this morning from FM. I like the Witty SU-27 a lot but must admit the GC models have left me a bit wanting. I had the FA-22 and sold it and have the Berkut in a box someplace. Is it wrong to buy it just because of hype? Anyway, I never saw one of the 34s in person so I guess I'll have my chance now.

Re: Pics: Edwards F-22 8011 Su-37

I think you'll like the Su-34, Drew.. but at least it's unlikely anyone else will be making a better one anytime soon.

Some new pics, for fun, of the Raptor in flight -- this model grew on me a bit over the last few days but it will soon be winging its way to a better home where a bigger Raptor fan lives as part of a swap.

The colors look good to me, and I like the way it looks "in flight" -- using a Corgi heavy stand...
