Yes u right, b_huj, it's wrong number in the tail. I'm looking for Su30 Vietnam, only have Hogan model but it's 1:200 scale...

"only" is an understatement. That 1/200 is probably more accurate in terms of research and livery than most Gaincorps or Witties... I am very hooked into the 200th scale now, and since Hogans go for less than Herpa's, it is a nice incentive to expand the fleet. Look at the Chinese naval SU-30MKK, it is extremely accurate and totally missing in the 72nd scale.

Re: A new SU-27 2-seater coming

got an email from the mule last night informing me that my preordered UBK is now in the mail, expected Tuesday! So,
to anyone else waiting for theirs---don't worry, they've through customs and reaching the dealers right now...it won't be long!

also, the mule posted new pictures. overall they look pretty good. I'm not sure that the forward fuselage is quite right yet,
especially the lower part, but it does look much better than the other diecast Flankers I've seen. the canopy area is also
a little...weird, with the pilots seeming low too, especially the backseater. finally, it definitely still has the cheapo ordinance
and landing gear that 1/72 GCs always seem to have...

anybody else have reactions to the photos?

Re: A new SU-27 2-seater coming

I bought mine off eBay yesterday. It will be my most expensive diecast to date due to the price and the shipping cost. Looking forward to receiving it next week. I have been resisting the Gaincorp J-10 and J-11 (the latter should be of the same mould as the other gaincorp SU-27 which I already have, I think). But just cannot resist a twin seat flanker. Personally, I find that the shape of the plane looks better than the single seater.

Re: A new SU-27 2-seater coming

Boy am I glad you guys talked me into not canceling my Su-27UBK order. I can’t wait for this thing to get here. I’m going whacko. I’m going crazy! Time to take my meds!!!!

But just cannot resist a twin seat flanker. Personally, I find that the shape of the plane looks better than the single seater.

Yep, it’s a cool looking configuration, valkyrie. I’ll have to see the twin-seater up against the single-seater to decide which one I like better.

Yes, i think the new Su27 UB China 2 seater is really really...awesome model. Gaincorp improved the wings so impress. For some reasons, i don't like the aircraft from China air forces, but with it, i'll consider... U can see more pics here:

Hey, not to be too critical of this Su-27UBK (especially since I don't even have one yet), but shouldn't the nose droop just a tad more?

Hi Gort, i'm not critical the Su27 UB. I only don't like the China Air Forces livery. U are one precise guy, I think the nose is bit not correct.

Re: A new SU-27 2-seater coming

Looking at the pictures, I am just concerned that the prints may fall off after some time like what happened to some of my 1:100 Armor diecast planes.

decals...My early CGs are close to 4 years old if memory fails me not, and so far so good, no peeling, no yellowing...but it is a matter of sooner or later, I hope later...but you're right it will happen. I am wure there are/will be tons of aftermarket decals to fix the problems, especially since GC already made some decal mistakes anyway.
