Su-27 Chinese Version

Just received the Gaincorp Su-27 1/72 scale. Acft is finished in the 3 tone Russian style camo with Chinese military markings (Blue 39). Not too bad Gaincorp diecast, but I'm kinda upset with the fit of the bottom part of the fwd fuselage to the upper part. I have a pretty good gap on the left side where the mold line is suppose to join. This goes from the left wing going forward to right under the cockpit area. Right side is tight, but the left leaves something to desire.. Anybody out there have the same problem with this version? I'm open to suggestions on how to fix this.. Hmmm, I guess that's why this baby was on sale for $29!!

Quite normal for Gaincorp. I have the same gap issue on my Russsian Airforce Su-27. The fuselage gap, on my Gaincorp Su-33 is a bit better but the fins, on the missles, are all cockeyed. BTW, $29 is a ridiculously low price for a Gaincorp Su-27, so you did, indeed, get a good deal. They're usually $45 gaps and all.
