Cool! Looks a lot like the Dassault Rafale. Any chance you could post some pics when you get it?

Re: 1/48 Plaaf J-10

Looks pretty good, planenutsfrog, but what scale is it? And does it come with optional gear, or just on the stand?

Thanks,

FVD

Re: 1/48 Plaaf J-10

I've seen them on eBay in 1/48th and 1/72 scale. Since they're Gaincorp, they're likely gear down only.

OK, yes, now I've seen one on e-bay in 1/48. It is gear down and looks pretty good, but the seller is in China, and postage is hefty. Not sure I want to get it just yet...

But the J-10 is something I'll want in my collection for sure at some point. A perfect symbol of growing Chinese airpower. Plus it looks way cooler than the FC-1.

So sorry Skidmarks, I still haven't a numeric camera...

As for the model, I confirm the ldg gear is permanently down, the only option is the metal stand.

Thumbs up Re: 1/48 Plaaf J-10

My parcel arrived last friday.

I am very satisfied with this model as well made and finished as the excellent 1/48 FC-1 : Gaincorp at its best !
(Only noticeable mistake, the bombs are painted light gray instead of olive drab)

It is not bigger than a 1/72 Flanker, but it is their most massive and heavy model to date.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm pretty sure I'll get one (but those shipping costs from China...).

Salut!

I would love to see a photo review of that 1/48 FC-1, planenutsfrog? Whenever it's convenient for you, of course.

Re: 1/48 Plaaf J-10

OMI carries the FC-1. I wonder if it will get the J-10 in stock??? Anyone know if a U.S. retailer has it?? I would love more information on this model.
