What do you think of Gaincorp F-15

Is it F-15A or F-15C. How come they don't carry AIM120C missile. F-15 without AIM120C is like having a bread without butter. I already bought it knowing it's not so good compared to Witty some say Dragon. But i had had bad experience with Dragon F-14B model so i chose to buy Gaincorp's instead(solid build). Any thoughts? Anyone has them? share your comments pls? Thx

Re: What do you think of Gaincorp F-15

I dunno the lack of modern and future weapons on ALL companies models is disappointing. I mean dragon does have the gbu-24 and the gbu-32 but at the same time look at all the new eapons coming out!!! you have the JSOW, JASSM, gbu-38 The small diameter bomb the AIM-9X missile!! i mean the list is endless!! I would really like to see dragon do some more weapons sets that are more modern. as for gaincorp...I like the way they are put together but i dont like the screws and the fixed landing gear. Also, I wish they had variable weapons so you could change them.

Re: What do you think of Gaincorp F-15

I can't speak to the versions q, but I think dragon's f-15 mold is much better than Gaincorp's. I have Gain's Gorillas F-15, and while I like the overall look of the paint scheme, the detailing is just much more crude than Dragon's effort... though there are zero fiddly bits. (I also think they should have left out the panel on the nose that opens as it adds little to the model -- a better loadout would be prefered).

Pappy,
I had the Gaincorp F-15 Gorillas and didn't like it as well as my F-15 Gorillas made by Witty. That's why i sold my Gaincorp F-15.
Dragon is ok but the Witty is the best F-15 on the market i think.

Sure it does, Pappy...It adds an unsightly, unrealistic looking gap to it....(I'm wide awake now)

Re: What do you think of Gaincorp F-15

Okay so Gaincorp F-15 is somewhat a letdown. How about Dragon F-15C Gorrilas? Do they have solid wheels since their F-14 tends to spread its wheels . Does Dragon F-15C has a full loadout like AIM120C, AIM 9, AIM 7?. What about their canopy better than Gaincorp's? I hate Dragon F-14B canopy low quality workmanship. Are they worth it more than Gaincorp? Or should i wait for Witty to come to my City(Which whoever knows when it arrives if it ever)

Wait for Witty or go for Dragon? I alreadu have Gaincorp F-15 Gorrilas. Does anyone notice that Gaincorp F-15 front wheel seems to be a little bit shorther than its back/rear wheels?

I think that WITTY's F-15 GORILLAS are the best. I had a Gaincorp F-15 but got rid of it quick after seeing what Witty is capable of reproducing...

Re: What do you think of Gaincorp F-15

I have the Dragon F-15C Gorillas. This model comes with 4 AIM-7s and 4 AIM-9s and 2 external fuel tanks on the wings. I consider it to be one of my favorites. Yes, the wheels are solid and I like the canopy, even though I cannot judge the differences between good and bad F-15 canopies.

Re: What do you think of Gaincorp F-15

Oh my i have commited an ultimate sin by choosing Gaincopr's F-15 over Dragon's. All because a bad experience from Dragon's F-14B wheels and canopy. So i ran to Gaincorp as Witty is nowhere to be sold here .

Good canopy imo is the one which closes tightly(closes with a click like Gaincorp F-15's canopy) and when opened doesn't fall back easily.

My mouth is watering when looking at Gaincorp Russian Flanker. I think the best Witty's Eagle is the Israeli one. Superb camo imo.

Oh well, i'll wait for witty to come to my City.
