I've got all three of those and I love them.

No need to buy the Witty Su-27s with their bad canopies... (even if they make nice liveries).

Re: Pics of VF-101 Grim Reapers

...and this is precisely why Century Wings models look so much better...They are models, not glorified toys like some of the other manufacturers put out...That's why whenever I read some member saying something like "wouldn't it be neat if they made it with folding wings?", I just want to slap 'em...
Operating features (especially at 1/72nd scale) almost always come at a sacrifice to accuracy....Let Wal-Mart sell those.

I'm all for optional parts, just not operating ones..

whoa whoa, before you go right ahead and slap me, how about the Gaincorp Su-33? I think it looks great with the wings folded up

Yeah, that's TWO slaps for Andrew.....one for liking the folding wings on his SU-33 and the other for going off topic...

Re: Pics of VF-101 Grim Reapers

You're gonna get a 'slappen' bigtime coz just look at that unsightly "door hinges" on the wings of the Su-33!

I keep my Gaincorp SU-33 with wing always folded up as it hides the oversized hinge assembly.

Re: Pics of VF-101 Grim Reapers

Way OT, but regardless of "gimmicks" the Witty Su-33 isn't an Su-33 at all. They went to the effort and expense of molding-all new wings to make them fold, yet didn't make them Su-33 wings. They're "folding Su-27 wings". I'd much rather have wings that were the distinctive shape and size of the Su-33, than to have folding ones of the wrong style.

Not to keep this going, but... I remember a similar discussion on MH I and martin posted some pics of the real hinges on the birds and gaincorp's not far off... I was surprised

This pic ain't great but...

And great pics of the Tomcat OC, thanks -- I think that is the ONE I will spring for...
