Re: Selling my collection and need help please!

Hi Dcrisp:

I am not an expert at all regarding FM models. However, I recently began collecting them as there are terrific deals to be had on Ebay from a few vendors. Many of the models you have are part of this dump or sell-off on Ebay so the prices are somewhat depressed (or depressing if you are a seller) with prices hovering at $40 USD or less (based on the auctions I have watched or participated in). And this is for new stock too.

You do have some older models that might be rare in the US (such as the RN F-4 perhaps) and those will do well.

My best advice would be to watch Ebay auctions for the FM/Armour models and price accordingly. You will see that some sellers insist on selling/auctioning models at or near MSRP rarely have a sale while the vendors pricing low for opening bids or BIN are doing great business. I know that's where my money has been going.

Good luck!
