FM, how about an IDF Mirage Kfir?

Since FM seemed to have corrected some of the original faults of their early Mirage molds, would anyone else be interested in seeing a Mirage Kfir variant made? I know I would.

So how about it, FM?

I would prefer it in 1/72 (HM). But for now if FM made it I would buy it.

I would probably get one depending on how good it looks...

I don't think that the same mold can be used for the Kfir. The Kfir uses the J79 jet engine and required fuselage mods to get it to fit. Closer would be the SAAF Cheetah that uses the Mirage F1, Atar 9K50 engine if memory serves, without the mods at the rear. The noses on the Kfir C2 and Cheetah are very similar and both have the canards. It should also be noted that later Mirage IIIs also used canards, check out Swiss Mirage IIIs in particular.

You are right ZS-VAN, the Kfir would definitely require a new mold.

On the other hand, the Cheetah is a "real" Mirage, actually THE ultimate Mirage III/V/50.

Much of the tooling for the Mirage III, could be re-used to make one.

Sharp looking jet, and really like the bottom paint scheme.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Well this is all under the assumption that FM will do a "retool" for a new mold which they've already done for the recent Mirage III releases!
