FM AH-64 Longbow....remember this dusty little number?

Finally got around to photographing this little beauty. Some of you might recall the ridicule that we all bestowed on the Ebay listing for this bird because it was covered in about an inch of dust......well here she is after a 15 minute cleaning with a moist paper towel. Just like the homely looking girl you see everyday but you ignore, with a bit of tlc she do clean up nicely!

Oh yeah, and not too bad for 40 bucks either!!

Homely looking she might be, but she's still a very nice looking presentable diecast!

Real nice looking addition you ended up with.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

FM AH-64 Longbow.

Could anyone explain to me, please, whether the tail rotor from this helicopter should be removable, detachable or not ?

On my helicopter it is, it comes off. That's why at first l suspected that it was a defect !

l would appreciate any conclusive ideas, answers, preferably from verified sources.
