My new FM Wolfhound Eagle

Just got this on Ebay for $40.00! The paint scheme is awesome, FM did a great job with the grays and the finish. My only complaint, besides minor gap issues, is that FM has a tendency to round or dull the nosecones of their jets. The Eagle's radome is no exception and this model would be perfect but for that issue! Enjoy.

Re: My new FM Wolfhound Eagle

Nice... tampo graphics, too

The thing that really bothers me about the FM Eagles is that speedbrake, why they molded it as a separate, massive, piece instead of just part of the mold (as it doesn't work anyways) is a head-scratcher. That said, looks like one of the better FM F-15s I've seen (I like JP's Anniversary scheme version, too).

Right, the speedbrake thing is really annoying!

I currently have 11 out of 17 Eagles I know of.

IMHO the best are B243, B247 and C984

Sorry, I tend to think in part-numbers.

B243 "Mig Killer" Balkans war

B247 Oregon Air National Guard

C984 "Never Forget" Operation Enduring Freedom

I could post pictures, too.

LOL -- yes, I guess it is all part of the FM "charm" ain't it...

(and yes AA, pics please -- if trex doesn't mind the thread clutter, that is... )
