Hit the mother lode on free models!!!!!

The darndest thing just happened today. I was outside mowing my lawn today when my next door neighbor flagged me down. I asked him if he needed anything and he told me that he was getting rid of some of his diecast airplane models. He said he wanted to give them to me because he wanted someone who appreciates them to have them. He then proceeded to give me the following Franklin Mint and Corgi models:

FM 1/48 B-25 Mitchell "Mitch the Witch"
1/48 P-51 Jumpin Jacques FM
FM 1/48 F4U Corsair FF59
FM 1/48 Hellcat in French markings
Corgi 1/72 Israeli Mosquito and Mustang
FM 1/48 Desert Storm A-10* Wasn't free, but he only wanted $50.00 for it, cost him $140.00, it's going to my dad for his birthday.

Well, back to mowing the lawn. It's a good day. I'll put up pics sometime in the near future.

Good day indeed, the lawns all mown and tidy and a whole bunch of diecast moved into the hanger, sounds great to me.

Congrats, brunowbe!

Still better than my luck, mowed the folks yard awhile back and all I got were some fire ant bites.

What else there to expect in Texas, while mowing the lawn, besided fire ants, and maybe a scorpion or two.
