Re: Armour Geanne/Geronimo

Ok, that is indeed a feasible explanation

Yep, more likely a case of just needing to straighten them thar barrels out. The other explanation is a bit more funny though.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: Armour Geanne/Geronimo

BTW, Drew, you probably know this but Armour did put out a Geronimo P-38 in 1:100... very similar scheme w/o the shark mouths.

I got one a little while ago and had forgotten about (another sign that too much has come in the door). I'll post some pics later...

Re: Armour Geanne/Geronimo

I did not know that. You must show me that one.

I try not to get the little ones other than the 109 which I have several of.

Yeah, most of the 1:100 prop stuff ain't that good, particularly the P-51 -- but they were nice at the time. This particular P-38 is all sticker markings, but I do believe I've many 1:100s that are pad-printed, too. Good to see FM is inconsistent across all scales Though, to be fair, this particular p-38 is a CDC original.

I think many of the 1:100 jets are very nice though -- particularly for the time they were made. (And I agree that the 109s are the cream of the CDC 1:100 prop line... I've got a few, too.)

Here's the FM art for the lightning -- it's got a pinup on the other side of the nose.
