Re: Latest FM acquisition

Oh, good for you! Yippie!

Rub it in why doncha!?!

I suppose photos are comming soon? Great.

Hey, think of it as good news Parsig my man -- less competition now for you! And, if history proves true again, you will find one on ebay listed as "Toy Plane" under Barbie accessories for $10 within a week

Photos will be a while in coming, as "work" deadlines are getting in the way of my fun again

Re: Latest FM acquisition

Geez Pappy, I haven't seen Parsig this disconsolate since he last bought a model for a price that us "normal" folks regularly pay.

Re: Latest FM acquisition

The Big Ass Bird II has landed!!! I really like this model, the only thing that I can find on it that I do not care for is the red on the cowling/fuselage shows through the yellow lettering of the planes namesake. If there are other owners of this out there, is typical of this model? I'm not an expert on this plane, but I like it and will be hunting down more FM P-47s. I'm also curious as to why it does not have invasion stripes (that would be outstanding if it did). I would also like to Dragon's version of this for a decent price. I will pics up shortly as my new hangar is almost completely set up.

Tarheel Hal, No Guts No Glory, Gabreski's, and Rozzie Geth all have the stripes -- and the only thing better than one 1:48 P-47 is a whole row of them on the hotramp...

Sounds like a plan Pappy!!! I'll be looking for deals on these (especially Tarheel Hal).

I'll troll the bay for a while on that one. That's where the BAB II came from for a reasonable price ($36 plus shipping). Are the razorback P 47s any good from FM?

So far, only one release... and the canopy was butchered.

Re: Latest FM acquisition

Pappy, right on the money. All PC models destined for the German market start with the "G".

And yes, probably your Rozzie outer box was swapped intentionally or the factory goofed.

You're welcome to ask anytime.

I know this discussion dates a while back, but I just want to let you guys know that I got a He-111 from Germany today....and it's not a PC version!!!
