Re: Latest FM acquisition

Nice haul AA! I like that D-Day Anniversary A-10.....wish I hadn't gotten rid of mine a couple years back.

I did the same thing -- purely for space reasons... it is a sweet A-10 and one of FM's better efforts I think. I have the HM version but somehow it's just not as

Since I have both I can see that both have their pro's and con's. I like 'em big so I'll stick to 1/48.

Should I run out of space I keep some in storage or just buy the condo next door!

Hehe, you gotta enjoy your hobby as long as you can.

Nah, I am not single but so far I am living alone in my place.

Well, that might change sooner or later and then its gonna be bad for my collection.

Re: Latest FM acquisition

Just picked these two up. I love the way the (mostly) low-viz Bounty Hunters 'Cat looks!

AA, you are SOOO smart. All we have to do is by another house for our diecast display. And what with the "burst" "housing bubble" houses are cheaper!

Re: Latest FM acquisition

Cool Trex, thanks for those Stingers shots -- been eyeing that one lately on the bay...

Though my FM F-18 stable might be full... Got a Vikings Superbug inbound, we'll see how that looks.

Thanks Steve,
IIRC, the Stinger Hornet is a special edition with a numbered plate on the underside. I got it from diecastepot454 for around $35 and it's worth every penny. He's got some good FM prices. I also have another Hornet inbound (Spanish AF) as well as the Fighting Razorbacks F-16 and a Black Bunnies Phantom from this seller. I didn't pay any more than $35-$36 for each of these!

I like both of these jets b/c they're fairly low-viz.......as low viz as we're gonna get it seems!

Yeah, I've been a good customer of his (and eubro's) lately on ebay... some truly killer deals. That's where I got the vikings F-18 -- $30-something shipped and it is $200 on aikens I think. (they are simply nutz with those prices but it makes you feel like you got a real deal I guess!)

Amen! It at least makes me feel less guilty for spending the money. Heck I just got back from Brookhurst Hobbies and I can't believe I just dropped $37 for the 1/72 HM Huey when I could've gotten a big 48 scale bird for the same price (minus shipping of course but you get the picture). BTW, I also just picked up my FM Spanish AF Hornet but haven't opened it yet.....gotta wait for the little lady to go beddy bye!!
