Re: Latest FM acquisition

It looks to me like FM gave this 190 gear more "rake" than the original FW 190s... still not enough though. And both of these models have 100% pad-printed (painted) graphics, as stated below

You have to wonder why more companies don't tackle Rall liveries ..

I realised that you mentioned they were pad-printed but somehow wrote a 'confused' sentence indicating the opposite - my apologies .

Re: Latest FM acquisition

Only potential FM "Friday Gaff" that I've noticed so far is it looks like someone forgot to paint the armour plating behind the pilot in the 109 cockpit... that 190 just looks wicked with those twin-barrelled gun pods.

Neat pair of fighters. Wonder if the Bf 109 is supposed to be bullet proof glass as apposed to solid plate.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Could be, could be -- let's give ol' FM a break and assume that's the case

I don't see a reference as to exactly what model 109 this is -- so is this the correct versino to have the glass then? (he asks stooopidly)

I did a little more digging and it looks like bullet proof glass feature was on BF 109G3 and later models.

Re: Latest FM acquisition

I just received this tornado. It is not pad printed, but it looks even better than expected. The tiger stripes are very well detailed. It is one of my favorite Armour tornado livery.

That is cool man. I would love to see the real aircraft.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
