It looks as if this bird has the over sized wing fuel tanks, its to bad if it does.

Re: FM JASDF F-4EJ Rarest ever F-4

Yeah, 400 of those were done.

I am lucky to own one of those.

From my POV one of the top 3 FM/A Phantoms.

Okay.. what are the other two? Inquiring minds of Phantom fans what to know!

(I've got the Omega on the way... I'd love to have this one, too, someday.)

Pappy - Dunno what Armour Addict had in mind here, but I know of one other that really "Makes My Day" in the F-4 collection - and that's the Armour VF-51 Screaming Eagles model - the original CDC "brown-box" edition... - JY

PS: Many thanks to Ranjet for this outstanding photo... - I GOTTA get me one of these...!!!

Oh yeah, I'd love to add that one to my FM Phantom squadron... that is sweet.

Re: FM JASDF F-4EJ Rarest ever F-4

Does anyone know where you can find an Omega Phantom anymore? There were a few on EBay last year, but I haven't seen any in a very long time.

Well, nowhere in shops. On ebay they reach astronomical summs.

You might PM Mesa, he was offering one here on the forum, Don't know if it's still available.

Good luck!

Fly Navy 75 - PM Ranjet - if he can't find you one, it can't be had - anywhere...!! HE'S "The Man" on items like this... - he's got OVER 460+ Armours now... - JY
PS: Be prepared to "pay out the nose", however... - this was a limited edition ("special"??) of 400 for the British market, I believe; although I'm not 100% sure of that. All I know is prices for this one on "the 'Bay" tend to be in excess of $300+...

Re: FM JASDF F-4EJ Rarest ever F-4

Thanks for the info, guys. I had an opportunity to bid on an Omega Phantom on EBay about a year ago, but I bid on the VF-51 Screaming Eagles jet instead (same type as the jet above). I won it, but it cost me over $300! Well worth it, however - it's the centerpiece of my collection. My current Armour Phantom count is at 7 and growing...

Well, I had a second Omega and sold it about a month ago. So much for bad timing...

I also have a Screaming Eagles and I'll keep it for now. Good to know how much they are worth right now.
