Look how blunt the leading edges of the wings are.

Re: New FM F-22 Photo's

Guess I'll pile on.

How much do they want for this piece of garbage.......$105.00 retail?!?!?! Almost 2 x the price of a CW?

In all fairness, I do like the FM F-4, F-86, AV-8, F-104, A-10, Mig-15, Mig-17 and some F-15 Modern planes....I'm sick!

Re: New FM F-22 Photo's

Allow me to restate my favorite and over-used question. Does anyone who's bashed the F-22 actually own the model? Or, as usual, are the forum resident experts working from photo images.? Keep it up and your keen eyed spoting will claim another incompetent builder of overpriced and poorly executed issues. So, which one of you hawkeyes owns the FM F-22? Be Honest, now.

I don't actually own a FM F-22......but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night.

I don't have to "own" the model to make my opinion. In the case on this particular F-22 I got the chance to inspect the pre-pro after the Nurnberg toy fair. By inspecting I mean holding in my hand and looking at it from every angle. Since the production model wasn't improved in any way I stand to my initial assement which I gave here:

Re: New FM F-22 Photo's

And they again failed to paint the inside of the cockpit black like it should be. I'll definitely pass on this one, even though I'm a huge F-22 fan.

It's becoming an alarming trend...Not only with FM, but other brands, namely Gaincorp for instance.
By the way, the airframe is moulded after the protype, sans nose probe test equipment (therfore the blunt nose). Look at the back of the cockpit: the antenna is not found on operational F-22s.
Livery is a nice try, at least more accurate than the Gaincorp version, I am only referring to the lighter gray bands on the borders, but it still does not look like the real thing.
The main gear sits ok, so at first sight at least it does not look like a sitting dog! too big for me, pass.
