When Armour Collection announced their intent to make a 1:48 scale PBY Catalina, it seemed like the diecast world drew its collective breath. I have been wondering if it's because of the weight...falling backwords like a tail dragger does.
With the gears down and all i would think they use a pin to hold the back up...Kinda like Corgi did.
This is after all a heavy plane for a 1:48 scale.

Yes... however, they are aluminum, so not as heavy as they would have otherwise been.
