Thumbs up Armour "British" F-117 Stealth - 1/48th scale

I understand this particular model (Armour "British", camouflaged, F-117 Stealth Fighter) was supposedly based on something that, in actuality, never existed. Be that as it may, I got a chance to see one recently & would like to acquire one, if anyone out there has one (NEW-IN-BOX, please!) for sale, or knows of anyone who has one & wouldn't mind parting with it. Thanks! - JY

That F-117 is the U.S.A.F. 410TH TS "PALMDALE" F-117A STEALTH , it's one of my favorites

Patrick1978 - Thanks! I finally located some info on Google. I was initially led to believe this was some sort of special "Australian" market model, but obviously it's not. Part of the BIG problem I've had over the years with Armour models in general, is that quite frequently, the paint schemes & markings are very much different than the ones depicted on the box cover. Hence, much of the confusion...!! - JY

flyXwire - Roger that - unknown to me at the moment; however, Armour Addict has one he'll sell me, and I'm also on Ranjet's "Want one" list should he ever decide to part with his. If I find out the number, I'll pass it along - I know it's supposedly based upon a desired acquisition on the part of the British (apparently the deal never went through), but I really like the scheme & wouldn't mind getting a second one, eventually. Thanks! - JY
