Re: Armour "British" F-117 Stealth - 1/48th scale

flyXwire - Roger that - unknown to me at the moment; however, Armour Addict has one he'll sell me, and I'm also on Ranjet's "Want one" list should he ever decide to part with his. If I find out the number, I'll pass it along - I know it's supposedly based upon a desired acquisition on the part of the British (apparently the deal never went through), but I really like the scheme & wouldn't mind getting a second one, eventually. Thanks! - JY

Hi John,

it's reserved for you. I might be able to hustle up a second one. Send me a mail for further info.

Cheers,
AA

Re: Armour "British" F-117 Stealth - 1/48th scale

Hello John, and fellow collectors:

I am an Armour collector and I have an F-117 "British" version that I purchased from a collector in England three years ago. I have other rarities that I'm also considering selling (e.g., JASDF F-4 Phantom, Royal Navy FGR 1 Phantom).

I have been buying/selling on Ebay since 2000 under the username "affabletrader."

I can get back with you in a couple days if you or anyone else is interested. I usually only sell on Ebay, but for the right price I could sell direct.

Re: Armour "British" F-117 Stealth - 1/48th scale

Hi John, someone pointed out your request to me when I was complaining about the size of this model in another thread I have had the RAF Stealth from new, and it's never been on display - it's been sitting nicely in its box for all these years. I recently got a nice new display cabinet, but have decided that this one really is too big to have on display. So, it would be good for the Stealth to go to a home where it would be appreciated. If you're interested, please let me know - but do keep in mind that I live in the Netherlands, so it won't be cheap to mail it.

I also have a number of other modern and WWII Armour and FM planes that I would consider selling. If anyone would be interested, please let me know!

Mesa - I "PM'd" you on this - no rush, of course, but when you get a chance, check your pvt. messages on this forum. Thanks! - JY

Re: Armour "British" F-117 Stealth - 1/48th scale

Hey are we still doin lease lend ?????????????????????????????

I think that model is just the RAFs wishful thinking.

Lockheed tried to promote the F-117 to the British Royal Air Force (RAF) as well. The company didn't make a sale, but it is interesting to note in this context that RAF pilots have been qualified on and flown the F-117 as part of USAF-RAF military exchange programs.

He was a complete fighter pilot.......Colonel John C. Meyer Deputy Commander of the 352nd.

I believe this number is from the old silver & blue box CDC Armour # 98057.
