Early 1990s Franklin Mint Spitfire Up For Bids On EBAY

That looks weird. Has it been used as a lawn ornament sitting in the sun?
Roundels faded, no way the flash made the camo colours look like that.
Has a plastic look about it/

This is a picture of my Spitfire..It's the first one FM made and the landing gear even re-tracks on this one.
My camo paint looks a little darker then the one posted.

I'm sorry to say that my version of this plane, which is in mint condition, looks very faded and much like the eBay photo. The lettering, in particular, is very difficult to make out on my bird.

Is their something particularly special about it that you would want to buy it?

In my case, this was the first diecast I purchased in my second incarnation as a warbird builder/collector, circa 1994, after seeing it in an ad in "Air & Space". So it has lots of sentimental value as the first of many that were to come.
