Nope, I had it made for a decent sum.

I have several bases to display my models.

Cheers AA

Many Thanks A.A.

Ironic, as I've just got back from my regular warehouse/stockists of Die-cast a/c.
I've just bought another SIX 1/48th 'F.M' a/c (F.86/R.N.Hurricane/3 x P.38's & a B.25 Mitchell) - last time I bought EIGHT ( )

I've just put out a post (Post No.19) in Pappy's 'F.M.' P.47 ('Angie') thread, explaining my 'dismay' regarding the nasty Tail-fin/fuselage joint that seems to spoil an otherwise 'nice' model..........

I've actually had this one you've photo'd ( E.078 in RAF - SEAC markings) in my hands this afternoon.

It was a excellent individual-example - I was VERY impressed with the paint, wonderful.......

But that line Vertical-line running thru the front of the Tail-Fin & the rest of the Tail-joint looks ugly, no matter how well painted or researched they are (sigh).......

Put it this way = it was enough to stop me from wanting to buy it = SHAME, as I really like the scheme.......

I felt the same about the other P.47's I saw (they didn't have Pappy's "Angie" "B.292" on which the Tail-fin joint don't seem to notice = probably cause of the Black-paintwork ?????????

If everyone else enjoys it - then Good-Luck to 'em, as the rest looks good.

Just that a gap at the front of the tail-fin & a ham-fisted joint elsewhere, is enough to put me off !!!!!!!!

I've only seen this one in pics and I like the scheme (much like the Corgi version). I'm unsure about the insignia and markings though as they look horribly out of scale to me. Of course I know little about this topic and need to rely on others for some informed opinion. It looks like these are correct then (small roundel, small letters that are staggered)?
