Question for Fm collectors

Hello all

I would like to find out when everyone orders FM plane how do they come shipped ? What I mean are they being shipped in just the outer white box or are they package inside another box also. I am getting setup with Franklin Mint direct to purchase wholesale and I am trying to figure out best way to ship these airplanes..

Thanks
Glen

Re: Question for Fm collectors

I've received them both ways -- I prefer to have the white box packed inside another box, as that FM packaging is not very thick. That said, I haven't received a damaged model..... yet. Or you can take the model (in its box) out of the white box and repack it in a heavier cardboard box for shipment... that's how they all pretty much have come from ebay and it seems safer than just the standard white outter FM box.

Almost all mine I received were shipped to me just with the outer plain white box - majority of those coming from W&W. So far it never suffered any damaged during transit, so I'm pretty lucky so far...

Same here. Most of mine are from Ebay so they vary greatly. Classic Closeout dot com packages them the best (IMHO) for a retailer with outer cardboard box followed with foam padding, then standard white FM box and FM art box inside.

Re: Question for Fm collectors

The ones I order overseas usually come within an extra box.

Tip of the day: Try ordering 2 or more FM planes at the same time, that way you'll save on shipping and they will come in a bigger box with added protection... ...it might not be a good tip after all... I don't want to encourage your diecast addiction...

Re: Question for Fm collectors

I prefer them being packaged in two boxes. I agree with Coldupnorth. I have purchased them single and multiple, and if you order multiple they come in a larger box. With lots of styrofoam popcorn.
