Hi Bada,
I can't think of any members who live in that area. Sorry we haven't been able to help you. You ought to post in the members area under the introductions section and tell us about your collection.

Thanks,
aeroeng

Re: Hobby shop(s) along Baltimore-DC Corridor

Thank you for your reply aeroeng.

I thought I'd introduce myself in the members area under the introductions section before I posted anything. But, I didn't do it since I thought I only collected (and interested in collecting) FM.

I live close to Baltimore. Currently I have 43 FM Armour 1:48 models (used to have 50+). I have other 1:48 models, but they aren't FM (I collected them before I started FM).

Re: Hobby shop(s) along Baltimore-DC Corridor

Hi there, Bada,
I travel quite a bit to the Washington, D.C., VA area and I have found the following hobby store in VA.

Piper Hobby

13892 Metrotech Dr
Chantilly, VA 20151 Map
  • (703) 803-3103
This store carries a huge selection of plastic models and has a very good assortment of Franklin Mint diecast models. Not to hard to find...it is right off of Highway 50, just down the road from Dulles Airport on VA 28 (Sully Road).
Give 'em a call.

Cheers,
Mike

Bada, folks here are quite good with coming up with answers, but every once in a while they need a little prod. I had to do the same recently. Glad you got an answer.

Re: Hobby shop(s) along Baltimore-DC Corridor

Thank you. Thank you all.

@Panther: I'll definitely check out that store.

And speaking about FM addiction, these two just recently arrived at my base: MiG 29C Soviet, woodland camo, # 44 and A-10 Warthog "Peanut" (I think its color scheme is more gorgeous than "Jaws" and "Alaska").
