Here's a 262 scheme I really like, and a good effort by FM overall -- still think the 262 is one of FM's "good uns"

Cheers Aero......I've never known 'em to 'start' with a 'C' nomenclature after the "B.11" (bit) before ????????

Any ideas as to why that is ????????

Re: Pics: FM 1:48 Me-262 "Black 4"

It looks good Pappy. I got one off Ebay a few years ago for $20 or so I think and sold it a few months ago for $25 and had to list it twice to get any bids.

I liked it but with all the 1/72 ones out now and the several I have...something had to go. I remember mine was a tailsitter unless I put the bombs on. Yours?

I agree it is a nice one but and now have my sights set on another. The Marine Prototype.

Yeah, just like me to pick the tough ones. Oh well.

You do like a challenge, then again.. you'll probably find it in some obscure auction for a fiver, too!

This particularly 262 is now retired, so the demand should go up a bit as should the price going forward. Don't get the problem selling it -- it's one of the best-looking schemes IMHO. It's a mad, mad world.

Mine is not a tail-sitter with or without the bombs attached, can't see how they'd provide much "ballast" as they are plastic and quite light. Interesting.

Looked through some of my catalogues and it looks like they started using B11C for their new part numbers for 2004.

Bummer! Kill flags are the same as "Dominos Pizza" logo!
