FM/A B11E761 He111 Torpedo Bomber

Lucky me was able to already get the new Heinkel He-111 Torpedo Bomber - B11E761 - H 4/6 Grosseto, Italy 1941

I had the opportunity to closely inspect most of the 2008 line-up but more on this in another thread.

The model shown is the G11 version missing the swazi.

Let the pictures speak for themselves:

Cheers,
AA

Looks nice AA! I've the AC-47 on order and can't wait to get it. BTW, do you know if FM correct the props since you've had the chance to inspect the '08's?

Well Trex, sorry to burst your bubble but I wasn't impressed by the AC-47. The paint job is nice but the minis are way too flimsy.

I didn't check the props and the picture I took is very blurry. trainsandplanes over in the UK has some decent pics up.

Cheers,
AA

That's the one that really stuck out when I looked at the releases on the Aikens site. Very nice. I never did mind the holes in the bottom. With no stand, who cares what's on the bottom anyway!?!?

Don't forget the targets are my airfields, Leigh-Mallory, and you're not getting fifty, you're not even getting ten.

Well... the torpedos. Which, by the way, FM appears to have attached to the model with an exposed screw head... fortunately not seen on the previous He 111 releases.

Just thought I would/should point that out...

Screws shmews! Display this plane at eye level or just below and you'll never see the holes. I bet it's impresive at that height.
