My very first FM Bf 109F FMB191

The Postman dropped off a package today and in it was my very first Franklin Mint/Armour Bf 109. The stabilizer is a little to high, mottling could be done a bit better, but to be honest, I like it. I also picked it up for a really sweet price, I picked it up for just a little under what a new Gemin Aces Bf 109F would go for. So for that price, I can't complain. It may be my imagination, but the FM construction looks similar in some aspects to Corgi. Now I have to make some more room so that I can display it. I should have another Hartman Bf 109G coming sometime within the next couple of weeks.

I offer my condolences...

Thanks, currently I am trying to pickup some Erich Hartmann Bf 109s, but the pickings are kind of slim. Looks like Franklin Mint/ Armour have three and Dragon has one. Curious if anyone else puts out a Hartmann Bf 109?

MATCHBOX made one too. It is very nicely done diecast and I treasure mine.

Have that one too, shame that the folks at Matchbox quit making that series.

I just sold one of these for $25 on extortionbay. Wish I'd have known you wanted one.
