Thumbs up Re: New Release RAAF Mirage III

Looks like they might have fixed the geometry problem behind the cockpit. Need one of you experts to verify. I'm thinking about getting the Israel A.F. one after I see some actual photos of the model. The new French A.F. one looks cool also. This Australian one looks great but I think it might be a little difficult to find here in the U.S. with the limited run.

WOW! It does look like FM did fixed that hideous geometry problem, doesn't it? Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, it does look about right. However, if FM decides to do some Israeli birds, then they may have to increase the length at the bottom end of the front rudder to properly show that additional 'filet' area (see pic below). In addition to that, study the engine housing area of the Israeli Mirage. Did you notice the extended apendage area of the aft fuselage engine? It's very prominent! You think FM will listen some more and do a complete retool of this diecast to reflect a combat a/c in Israeli service? One would hope so....
I'm with you for an Isreali scheme both bare-metal and desert camo!
