Re: 2008 FM Listing at Historic Avation ?

Sorry to disagree with you there, Fly Navy 75 - While there are new versions of old molds, I don't see any NEW CASTINGS (new planes) that would make me thrilled about 2008. Don't get me wrong - I collect primarily F-86's & F-4's, however, having said that, I'd love to "go nuts" over some A-4's, F-100's, F-8's, MiG-21's, A-7's, etc; etc; - you see what I mean? I saying "Oh c'mon, Armour... - we REALLY DON'T need more Phantoms & Sabres... - WHERE IS THE N-E-W stuff.....????? - JY

According to info that I'm getting (from a very reputable dealer who does lots of business with FM) the Mint is apparently going to split the 2008 releases into two halves (ala Corgi). I would guess that this means that we're seeing roughly half of the total repaints due for 2008 in HA's catalogue. There will be a new casting announced (info will be in FM/Armour Collection 2008 catalogue) that will be available sometime in the first half of the year to go along with these first repaints. I understand there is a decent chance of an additional new tooling that will go along with the release of the later repaints. ------Happy collecting, markko

Re: 2008 FM Listing at Historic Avation ?

Well i hope i will see a repaint F-22 in "FF" tail markings and a repaint Phantom too.
It looks like we have to wait a little while longer for the 2nd half of the release for 2008.
Maybe even a new tooling of a A-7 Corsair or even a F9F Panther..

That's something to look forward to...I guess. I hope to see a MiG-21 (this is a must for both my Nam Phantoms), an improved mold for the Mirage III in IAF colours and like JP...an good F-22 Raptor and a repaint of the F-4E in IAF!

Do you have the MiG-17 for your Nam Phantoms?

For sure! I always like my displays in "dogfighting" scenarios. Like the F-86 and the MiG-15...know what I mean.

Absolutely, I just ordered the Toon/Tomb MiG-15 to go with my MiG Killers.
