Well I got a deal on Two FM 1/48's on the Bay from a seller I use now and then. In the ad it said there would be no side panel and no cert? So I knew up front this would be interesting. I got them today which shocked me since I only paid 4 days ago and am still waiting on an order from another non Ebay Vendor from 7 days ago.

The planes look great, and the side panel and cert is missing, of course I dont buy these with the intent of making a killing later, I guess FM must be selling these like this to avoid the whole BS pricing issue of recent times.

I got an Italian Eurofighter Typhoon for $45.00 and a German Ju-87 Stuka for $31.00, shipping for both was only $13.45, overall a fantastic deal and the planes are mint :-)

Just cant figure out who gains by the side panel and cert being out?

Yes, they cut off the entire side panel and took out the Certificate which is kind of a joke anyway. I knew it when I made the purchase, just wondered why the MFG Franklin Mint are such jerks about there too high normal pricing which this must have something too do with. Seems like most dealers would sell these , P-51 size models in the $40.00 range but the dealer I used to buy from, dropped the whole line last year sometime, because of some forced pricing policy with FM. Anyway, main thing is I got these great planes at a super low price just because of the missing cert and bix side. The seller said it was too keep Franklin Mint off his back at these prices?

I am ok with it as far as the seller goes, just dont get the MFG, I think Corgi and FM better be carefull with the way they treat dealers and how high they raise there prices.
