consensus on JU-52

What's the general consensus on these FM Ju-52's models? I purchased the "russian front" model and besides the minor seam issues near the nose and body panels, these planes are beautiful in my opinion. they are expensive costing me a little over $300 CDN after shipping and duty, but I would purchase another.

Any other opinions?

FM's Ju 52 is awesome, I love mine and consider it one of the best diecasts available.

Re: consensus on JU-52

Agreed--the JU-52s are excellent, heavy and very big. Depending on the version, they come with either a two or three bladed prop. So you might want to check that, if it is a concern. I was lucky to get mine for a very reasonable price early this year when the Monkey Depot was liquidating the line, probably due to the price increases and "price stabilization" requirements. Note: This picture was taken before I snapped the canopy in place.

Thumbs up Re: consensus on JU-52

I've got the same one KG_Jag and love it. I got mine on sale at a hobby shop about two years ago for $99.

Very nice bird! Looking forward to the 1/72 scale one that Corgi is supposed to already have out now.

Re: consensus on JU-52

Yes, I have one (Crete airdrop) and it's one very impressive model. Takes a lot of room, but worth it.
