Re: P-38's Your pick

I would choose Bong's "Marge" , as he is kind of a local hero--having been raised within 200 miles of where I live.

Re: P-38's Your pick

I'd go with something that contrasts with the one you have, so a silver scheme or one like #5 below... certainly plenty to choose from!

1. Little Buckaroo (love the noseart)/ or the Jandina shown below
2. Putt-putt Maru (pilot history)
3. Pudgy (pilot history)
4. Marge (pilot history)
5. 8-Ball (photo recon version with a cool paint scheme -- I admire the recon guys and well, like blue )

(Joe Pilot has some for good prices)

Thumbs up Re: P-38's Your pick

I got Putt Putt Maru (B11B283) for my oldest son for Christmas two years ago and I'd have to say it's in the top five of my favorite die-cast.

Re: P-38's Your pick

I have the Marge and California Cutie from FM!

Pudgy IV ,Putt Putt Maru and Florida Gator (F-5 Photo Recon) from Spec Cast,
Ez Does It from Corgi, and Mama's Boy & Scat IV from Matchbox.

If someone would just make an all black P-38M Night-lightning variant (has to be in 1:48), I'd be all over it!

I agree i thought for sure they make one of them by now...
That P-38M is a cool looking bird too.
