| Hi, I picked up this Eurofighter recently and tried to do some beauty shots. The Modell is the B11E317 - Eurofighter Typhoon Luftwaffe "Einsitzer" (Single seater). It is a limited production run of 400 pieces done for the german market. I hope you enjoy them and leave a lot of feedback! Regarding the quality of the modell: Some visible seam lines and shiny metal spokes on the wheels. AA | |||||||||||||

| Re: B11E317 - Eurofighter Typhoon Luftwaffe "Einsitzer" I'd like a Eurofighter in 1/48 (I have a Corgi 1/72, RAF single-seater), but the FM model is only OK, so I wouldn't pay full price for it. Particularly bad are the fuselage-mounted missiles, which look like bad reproductions of the ALARM anti-radiation air-to-surface missile (only used by the RAF and not carried by the Eurofighter on these stations, now or ever) as opposed to the correct AIM-120 AMRAAMs (or Meteors if you want to have a futuristic-looking Eurofighter). This missile thing is just another example of the lack of seriousness by FM/Armour in the past few years. This kind of mistake is inexcusably stupid. I can only shake my head. It's as if FM/Armour just have to incorporate a blatant flaw in each of their models, recently (at least the modern types). The external fuel tanks don't look quite right either, BTW, but close enough. At least the overall shape of the aircraft is fairly well done, the only exception being the windscreen which looks a little wrong to be (but again close enough that this in itself would not prevent me from buying). | Re: B11E317 - Eurofighter Typhoon Luftwaffe "Einsitzer" It's my favorite of all of them they've released so far. I'm still going to hold of a while till a couple different schemes come out to choose from. Of course at this time, there aren't a lot of schemes out there for FM to make. | |||||||||||||
